Íshestar Riding Centre
The Íshestar Riding Centre is unique in Iceland, set in beautiful surroundings just outside the town of Hafnarfjördur, 10 minutes from Reykjavík by car. All clients are provided with warm overalls, raingear, boots and helmets. The facilities and its beautiful surroundings provide endless opportunities for riding and other outdoor activities. Íshestar also offers hiking tours, boat trips, jeep safaris, and horse shows, including a horse show held in a skating rink, on ice. Numerous fun games can be combined with riding tours for groups and a spacious restaurant is situated inside the riding centre offering a creative and imaginative menu. The Iceland Adventure Race is a new choice for incentive and conference groups. In this package, jeeps and horses are combined with competition, games, and refreshments. This takes place both in the Reykjavík city center and on the south shore.
